ADJUSTER MECHANISM

This is our patented design of an adjuster to keep the distance between the drum and the lining at an optimum value.

Lining-to-drum clearance would need excessive adjustment due to the increased temperature and brakes would become locked when the temperature drops to normal levels.

The automatic adjuster is preventing the blockage of the brakes with the use of a thermal bi-metal material. The most important feature of the design is the ability of the bi-metal being detachable and adjusted according to various usage conditions. The system is protected from all external factors.
